Tapping Points with Jan Luther, The EGO Tamer® and EFT Founding Master

Emotional Freedom Techniques® (EFT®), sometimes referred to as “tapping,” is a collection of self-help techniques created by Gary Craig that relate to the mind-body connection. EFT uses acupressure at tapping points on the body (kind of like acupuncture, but without the needles) and mental-emotional focus.

Okay, so what do you do with tapping?

When you apply tapping, you’re just using your fingertips to tap lightly on specific points of your body’s meridians (or energy pathways) while you focus on an event or emotion. So, what does that do? Well, basically, you’re re-balancing your body’s energy system and that will allow you to quickly reduce the negative emotional and physical impact of memories, traumas and past incidents that are triggering your emotional and physical distress. Once you reduce, remove or “reframe” the distress or trauma and allow your body to re-balance itself, you’ve moved into the “fast lane” for feeling better. I’m betting you’ll be like most people and experience rapid, long-lasting results. As you may have already figured out, I’m known by most of my clients and students as The EGO Tamer®. Don’t be put off by the title. I don’t use whips and I don’t bark commands. It’s actually meant to be a humorous play on words. The technique I use when working with my clients is called The EGO Tamer® (TET) Tapping Technique. (I know, clever, right?) It’s my own adaptation of tapping that incorporates intuition and drawing on the gifts and power of the Spirit to get to your core issues. The EGO Tamer® (TET) Tapping Technique gets results…and that’s what I want for my clients…results that matter! The technique? Well, that’s just something you’ll have to experience in a personal session with me or by attending one of my seminars…
